Our Commitment to Your Privacy

At PECULIAR SHOP, you have full ownership and control over your personal account and associated data. In compliance with the Google Play Developer Program Policies, this page provides complete transparency on how to initiate account deletion, what data is permanently deleted, and what limited records are retained for legal or regulatory reasons.

Data That Is Permanently Deleted

When you delete your account, the following personal data and assets are permanently and irrecoverably erased from our active databases:

• Personal Identity: Your full name, email address, phone number, bio, and avatar/profile photos.
• Security Credentials: Login passwords (hashed), session tokens, and third-party Google OAuth linkages.
• Store & Products (for Sellers): All listed store items, uploaded product images, product descriptions, pricing, and inventory records.
• Customer Preferences: Shopping cart contents, favorites/wishlist, and saved delivery addresses or pinned map locations.
• Communications & Telemetry: In-app chat messages, customer support inquiries, notification history, FCM push notification device tokens, and temporary GPS delivery coordinates.

Data That May Be Retained and Why

To comply with commercial law, tax regulations, accounting audits, and fraud prevention obligations, the following minimal transactional records are retained:

• Financial Transaction Records: Completed order receipts, payment transaction IDs, and settlement ledger entries are retained in anonymized form to comply with statutory accounting and financial auditing requirements.
• Retention Period: Retained for the statutory duration required by financial regulatory authorities (up to 7 years), after which they are permanently purged. These retained records are disassociated from your personal contact information.

Method 1: Instant In-App Deletion (Recommended)

To delete your account immediately using the PECULIAR SHOP Android app or website:

1. Open the PECULIAR SHOP app or sign in at peculiarshop.store/login.html.
2. Navigate to your Profile tab (or Store / Courier settings).
3. Locate the Account Security section and click Delete Account.
4. Enter your password (or type DELETE if you signed in using Google) and tap Delete Permanently.
5. Your account and personal data will be wiped immediately, and you will be signed out.

Method 2: Web Deletion Request Form

If you have uninstalled the app or are unable to log in, you can submit an official deletion request using this form. Our support team will process your request within 48 hours and send confirmation to your registered email.
